Area Shift Manager

As an Area Shift Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure seamless operations in your area of the business. This hands-on role will provide you with experience in analyzing and implementing corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels, as well as supporting and leading a team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Support and lead a team, handling administrative tasks and building a strong team culture
- Analyze performance data to suggest process improvements and optimize work
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your days will include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
As a member of the Customer Fulfillment (CF) team, you will be responsible for managing dynamic inventory and facilitating speedy deliveries. You will work closely with the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team to ensure efficient transportation and the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team to handle last-mile delivery duties.
Requirements:We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree (or working towards one) and advanced proficiency in written and verbal English. Relevant experience in data analysis and communication with stakeholders is also required. Experience in a logistical working environment and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
