Key Responsibilities:- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize work and improve customer service
- Support and lead a team, handling administrative tasks and building a strong team culture
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes and improve operational efficiency
As an Area Shift Manager, you will work closely with the Customer Fulfillment (CF) team, who are responsible for managing dynamic inventory and facilitating speedy deliveries. You will also work with the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, who use air, sea, and road transport to get packages to their destination quickly and efficiently. Additionally, you will work with the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team, who handle 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree (or working towards one) and advanced proficiency in written and verbal English. You will also need relevant experience in performing data analysis and experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment. Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and working in a logistical environment is also desirable.
