Position Overview: Digital Delivery Lead

In the capacity of a Digital Delivery Lead, you will be instrumental within the Digital and Data Service domain, particularly in the Delivery Team. Your main focus will be to oversee the definition, documentation, and successful execution of medium to large-scale initiatives. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders throughout all project stages and play a key role in identifying specific metrics and mechanisms for delivering and monitoring benefits. Furthermore, you will assist in determining the most suitable methods for representing service requirements in the context of change initiatives and conduct business impact assessments to evaluate how changes will influence business units and roles.

  • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of processes, workflows, tools, and methodologies.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Experience in managing custom-designed, full life-cycle projects, with a creative approach to problem-solving and project management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: A proven ability to build influential relationships with internal and external users, suppliers, and partners at the senior management level.
  • Agile Mindset: Familiarity with project management best practices and the application of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, along with an understanding of agile delivery principles and methods.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Expertise in project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for effective project management from initiation through implementation.
  • Skill in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
  • Capability to prepare and present business cases, requests for proposals, invitations to tender, and statements of requirements/work.
  • Proficiency in modelling and comprehending a business and its operations.

Relationships:

  • Serve as the spokesperson for your project team; effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding the team's progress.
  • Manage external technology and delivery partners; oversee contract negotiations.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring a strong project team culture through collaboration and communication.
