Digital Delivery Lead - Salary Circa £100,000

This is a great role for someone who would like to support Aviva’s continued transformation to modern delivery and product development practices and be responsible for supporting the cross-functional product and development teams to deliver quality products.

A bit about the job:
The Digital Delivery Lead (DL) will manage the delivery of product increments into production releases.

They will work as a support to one or more of Aviva’s Digital Products, which consists of several multidisciplinary squads, to enable them to deliver towards a shared mission. They will support the Digital Product Owners in creating the right environment for the squads to succeed, identifying, and managing dependencies, planning the high-level sequence of work, helping the team to self-organise, and creating a culture of learning and transparency. The DL takes ownership for providing delivery advice and guidance, where required, and is responsible in coordinating the overall delivery for their Digital Product.

The Digital Delivery Lead will be a key point of contact for the Platform Lead and will take responsibility for supporting the Digital Product’s management. They will work alongside the Senior Product Owner, squad Product Owners, Scum Masters, Software Engineers, and other Support roles, to support the delivery of working product increments into production.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in managing delivery teams in digital product environments, using agile and scaled agile models / structures (and identifying when and how to use different approaches).- Able to effectively support the delivery flow of the Tribe, leading to sustainable improvements over time, and to support the management of internal and external risks, issues and dependencies (and removes blockers that affect the squads’ ability to deliver).- Have a proven track record in supporting the delivery of software solutions using agile methodologies. Can mentor and coach the implementation of these methodologies throughout Aviva.- Experience of good practice in planning, driving sensible consistency across squads. Demonstrated ability to track internal and external dependencies, and to plan the sequence of work across squads.- Experience of supporting business planning, resource management and financial management / controls.
