Head of Mechanical Fire Safety Manager

Our client, a leading Fire and Security company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Mechanical Fire Safety to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop the Mechanical Fire Safety Department across the UK, ensuring all installations and planned servicing are delivered within budget, on time, and in line with customer and quality expectations.
- Review mechanical project files for technical and contractual elements, ensuring projects are delivered technically compliant and on budget.
- Provide monthly service and work bank forecasts, working to achieve monthly budget.
- Select and monitor sub-contract labour, direct resource, and suppliers.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and sub-contractors for planning and work coordination.
- Attend site meetings and regional offices as required.
- Ensure Health and Safety Compliance, completing toolbox talks, health and safety audits, and reporting accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
- Ensure Environmental Compliance and regular compliance to 3rd Party BS/EN Audits in line with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain the mechanical department folders.
- Experience in a similar management role leading a team of Mechanical Engineers.
- Deep understanding of mechanical systems, with extensive experience in managing installations and maintenance.
- Customer-focused with the ability to resolve customer queries.
- Excellent management and computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic.
- The ability to work independently and desire to learn.
- Basic Salary £50-60,000 per annum.
- Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance subject to candidate preference, circa £575 per month.
