In the role of Financial Reporting Specialist, you will assist our Senior Financial Accountant and the broader Finance team in managing our monthly revenue reporting process across various sales channels, including packaged goods, digital platforms, and mobile applications for leading game franchises.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring diverse revenue streams, analyzing financial sales data, and preparing monthly sales reports while accounting for deferred revenue. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across our European and Global operations will be crucial for sharing and communicating essential insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple revenue streams, ensuring timely recognition and appropriate accounting in compliance with IFRS 15: Revenue Recognition.
  • Participate in month-end closing activities, including accounting for packaged goods, posting revenue accruals, deferred income, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Upload monthly revenue data from Electronic Sales Distributors (ESD) into our ERP system and generate invoices for accounts receivable.
  • Oversee the monthly data upload of revenue from various platforms and ensure accurate invoicing and revenue accruals.
  • Review data uploads to identify and map new product identifiers to internal stock-keeping units (SKUs).
  • Prepare monthly royalty reports for submission to head office.
  • Handle various intercompany invoicing on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly royalty reports.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a financial or management accounting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (minimum 75%) in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
