About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for various financial duties, including transactions, month-end duties, supplier statement reconciliations, processing invoices, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions, including accounts payable duties
- Perform month-end duties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Process invoices, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment
- Assist in clearing a backlog of projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a finance professional with strong experience in an office environment. You should possess excellent attention to detail, high speed and accuracy, strong communication skills, and a strong desire to succeed. You will be able to use initiative, anticipate issues, and develop practical solutions to deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines.
