Key Responsibilities- Support the CEO in driving the commercial strategy and managing the UK and German Finance teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and oversee intercompany transactions.
- Play a key leadership role, driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Oversee the preparation of project and year-end statutory accounts (turnover circa £50mil) in accordance with reporting guidelines.
- Be responsible for intercompany accounting and ensuring accurate consolidation of financial results across regions in compliance with UK, German, and international financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting professional development and growth for a team of 9 finance professionals across the UK and Germany.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience of managing teams in international settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and familiarity with the German taxation system.
- Experience in managing intercompany accounting across international entities.
- Solid leadership skills and experience of mentoring/coaching a team.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desirable and other financial management tools.
- Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and identify process improvements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to travel to international offices in Germany and other regions as needed.
A competitive salary ranging from £70,000 - £80,000.
