Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CS&A Principal Engineer to contribute to our client's dynamic team within the nuclear sector. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in civil, structural, and architectural engineering, who is ready to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
As the CS&A Lead Engineer, you will oversee all project activities and ensure the production and verification of design deliverables across various asset care initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing project workflows and timelines effectively.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Delivering high-quality engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Comprehensive experience in civil and structural design, particularly in modifications to existing structures.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality and budget constraints.
- Experience in project management, including schedule development and stakeholder engagement.
- Chartered Engineer status with IStructE or ICE, or at minimum, Incorporated Engineer status.
Preferred Skills
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Experience in delivering work for safety cases.
- Familiarity with writing safety case documents such as DARs and DJRs.
- A solid understanding of the unique challenges in asset care within the nuclear industry.
- Experience with Cimage and Icepac for information retrieval.
- Proficiency in Tedds and Staad Pro software.
- Possession of relevant security clearance.
