About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineer to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group. As a Senior Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex engineering projects, working closely with our clients to ensure that their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of civil, structural and architectural engineering projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are informed of project progress.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to junior engineers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities, identifying and pursuing new clients and projects that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of civil, structural and architectural engineering.
Requirements
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with membership of ICE or IstructE, or working towards.
  • Highly experienced in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
  • Awareness and experience of using the latest design codes and standards.
  • Understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior engineers.
