About the Role

Majestic Wine is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Performance: Maximize sales opportunities and support your team in meeting and exceeding targets through focused KPI delivery.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop Wine Knowledge: Demonstrate and share your passion for wine with customers through in-depth knowledge of our range, and take ownership of your wine knowledge to support your WSET qualification.
  • Take Ownership of Store Appearance: Take pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Operational Tasks: Participate in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to make improvements that will optimize the operational running of the store, and feed ideas back to your wider team to implement solutions together.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure you remain fully compliant, safe, and legal by following internal policies, processes, and completing mandatory training.
  • Leadership and Support: Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Excellent Time-Management and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience and Service
  • Self-Motivated and Adaptable
  • Passion for Wine and a Willingness to Learn
  • Hold a Full UK/EU/EEA Driving Licence for at least 12 Months with No More Than 6 Penalty Points
