We are seeking a talented Construction and Procurement Solicitor to join our team at Law Staff Legal Recruitment. As a leading legal recruitment agency, we specialize in connecting top talent with the best law firms in the industry.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in construction law to join a reputable law firm in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of contentious construction matters, advising on construction contracts, and drafting submissions for adjudication and arbitration proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a caseload of contentious construction matters, including advising on construction contracts and drafting submissions for adjudication and arbitration proceedings.
- Providing expert advice on construction law and contracts to clients and other professionals.
- Liaising with clients and other professionals to ensure excellent client care and satisfaction.
- Preparing seminars and contributing to publications on construction law and related topics.
- Participating in business development activities to grow the firm's construction law practice.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong academic background, with at least a 2:1 at degree level.Postgraduate course in construction law is advantageous.Familiarity with Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, the Scheme for Construction Contracts (England and Wales) Regulations 1998, and the Civil Procedure Rules.Excellent communication skills, commercially aware, and proactive.IT proficient.About the Firm
