Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction and Procurement Solicitor to join our in-house legal team at Sellick Partnership. As a Construction and Procurement Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our clients on a wide range of construction and procurement matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contractual documentation with clients, sub-contractors, and consultants relating to construction law, including collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements, NEC, and FIDIC.
  • Providing legal advice across the business on construction matters, including contract review and negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Working with external solicitors to provide support and guidance on complex construction and procurement matters.
  • Assisting with training and knowledge sharing within the business to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the latest developments in construction and procurement law.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in construction and procurement law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
