Job Summary:

Sellick Partnership is excited to work with a leading organisation responsible for delivering a major infrastructure project, seeking a Senior Construction Solicitor to join their in-house legal function.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel on a significant project scheduled to last for the next 10 years. This will provide an opportunity to work on a range of interesting legal matters, gain valuable experience in an in-house legal function, and develop legal services management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contractual documentation related to Construction Law, including collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements, NEC, and FIDIC.
  • Build relationships with high-profile internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team on commercial projects.
  • Assist with small-value litigation claims.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in the construction/engineering sector, either in-house or in private practice. A keen interest in working in-house is essential.
