**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Tamworth. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and ensuring that all students receive the guidance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.
- Support the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Monitor student progress and communicate findings with the teaching staff.
- Help manage classroom behavior and foster a productive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential, as well as holding a NVQ level 2 or higher.
- A proven ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience supporting children with SEND is advantageous but not required.
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting to the needs of the classroom.
