Office Administrator Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients in the Equipment Manufacturing industry based in Aberdeen.

Our client has a rich history of design and engineering, with international locations across 10 countries. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the QA Department with clerical duties, preparing documents for parts orders, and assisting in the preparation and compilation of certification data books.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the QA Department with clerical duties
  2. Prepare documents for parts orders
  3. Assist in the preparation and compilation of certification data books
  4. Liaise with other sectors/locations of the company to obtain documentation
  5. Submit documentation via various portals
  6. Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact
  7. Prepare commercial invoices
  8. Arrange for courier collections and liaise with travel companies
  9. Maintain databases relating to inward customer purchase orders

Requirements:

  1. Proven office administration experience
  2. Strong Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy
  3. Excellent communication and telephone management skills
  4. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  5. Experience with invoices and shipping documents an advantage
  6. Experience in the Oil, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Design industries an advantage

What We Offer:

Salary circa £23,000 DOE, 37.5 hour week, 30 days holidays inclusive of 10 days public holidays, death in service after 1 year, pension after 3 months' probation, and private medical for employee, partner, and family after 2 years' service.
