Academic Support Assistant

Appointment is at Grade 3 level.
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Professional Practice Support Assistant to provide business support to our Children Young People and Family Services Central Administration Team based at 79 Lowgate, Hull.
The role includes:
- Answering telephone calls and redirecting them to the relevant member of staff
- Meeting and greeting contractors and suppliers who visit 79 Lowgate
- Processing financial transactions
- Retrieving archived childcare paper and electronic records
- Arranging bookings for pool cars and liaising with Fleet Management regarding servicing and fault logging of the cars
- Assisting with organization of children's management panels
- Assisting with processing of Free Travel Passes for scholars
The post holder will provide flexible, effective, efficient, and customer-focused support services ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery of efficient front-line services.
The post holder will also provide support to the Service Support Manager as required and be willing to work and provide cover at other Children's citywide locations.
