About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Achievement Support Assistant to join our team at a supportive school in Hull. As an Achievement Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in their academic progress, working closely with teachers and other staff.
  • Assist students with their learning, providing guidance and motivation.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups of students to help them achieve their goals.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
  • Help with classroom management and behaviour support when needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A patient and positive attitude towards supporting children's learning.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to different student needs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
