About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources to enhance student learning.
  • Provide individualised support to students who require extra help, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment, promoting student well-being and academic success.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning materials to meet their unique requirements.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community and fostering positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards helping students, with a basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is an advantage.
