Wellbeing and Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team as a Wellbeing and Behaviour Teaching Assistant at a school in Hull. This exciting opportunity involves providing vital support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Support: Act as a point of contact for students, offering guidance and support to address both academic and personal needs.
  • Individual Sessions: Conduct individual sessions with students to identify and address specific needs, collaborating with academic staff to develop targeted support plans.
  • Pastoral Care: Contribute to the development and implementation of programs focusing on pastoral care, cultivating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the college community.
  • Relationship Building: Forge positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience in a role related to student wellbeing or support is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the college environment and work collaboratively with the Behaviour and Wellbeing team.

As a Wellbeing and Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a strong leadership team, working with experienced professionals who are dedicated to your success. Tradewind will also support your development through their fantastic CPD via The National College.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure: A valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required, along with Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • CV and Qualifications: A comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, highlighting relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Legal Right to Work: A legal right to work in the UK is essential.
