About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use issues, helping them to access the resources and services they need to achieve recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized support plans for service users, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective support network.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify service users' needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Provide education and training to service users and their families on substance use, recovery, and related topics.
Requirements
- Experience working in the substance use sector, preferably in a recovery-focused role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and stakeholders.
