Job Description:

We are seeking an Ambitious Manager to join our team at Leisure People Recruitment. As a Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced leisure entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Ensure that customers have a fantastic time, every time, by delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Team Management: Inspire, coach, and develop your management team to be the best version of themselves every day, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operations: Ensure the centre is clean, safe, and fully operational at all times, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Commercial Performance: Drive performance across all revenue lines, implementing new business plans and strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for budgets, banking, and stock control, ensuring accurate financial reporting and management.
  • Shift Work: Work a mixture of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as the acting General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Energy and Enthusiasm: An abundance of energy, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience delivering an amazing customer experience in a fast-paced customer-facing business, including nightclubs, style bars, visitor attractions, and fitness clubs.
  • Management Experience: At least 3 years of people management and key holder experience, possibly as an AGM, Operations Manager, Bars/Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Duty Manager.
  • Business Acumen: A head for business and experience in promoting and growing different revenue lines.
  • Flexibility: The flexibility to work at least one evening a week and up to three in four weekends, as these are our busy trade times.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: A highly competitive basic salary of up to £32,000.
  • Monthly Bonus: A monthly bonus of £200.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: An annual performance-related bonus of £8,000.
