About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent to join our team at Soho Farmhouse. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process reservations for our hotel, spa, and restaurant outlets
  • Assist with answering guest queries via phone, email, or in-person
  • Process cancellations and modifications, and communicate this information to the front desk
  • Understand and communicate our hotel's policies on guaranteed reservations and no-shows
  • Prepare expected arrival lists for the front office
  • Update guest profiles and handle daily correspondence

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a busy commercial reception desk environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness
  • A sense of urgency and a 'yes, yes, yes' mentality
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for food and beverage
  • Flexibility to work varying shift times, including evenings, weekends, and opens/closes
