Role Overview

The Bamford Collection is a group of consciously minded lifestyle brands committed to nourishing and nurturing people and planet. As a Luxury Guest Experience Host, you will be part of a team that provides experiences that embrace luxury escapism: understated elegance, indulgence, and nurture.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing exceptional experiences and customer service to our guests. This includes greeting guests upon arrival, providing assistance with their luggage, and introducing them to their accommodation and the local area. You will also anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond in assisting with requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • To always be a friendly and professional point of contact to all guests, following protocols with contact over the phone, via email, and face-to-face during their stay.
  • To work varied shifts on both our Reception Desk and fulfilling and delivering concierge services to our guests staying in our cottages.
  • To build an in-depth knowledge in operating a range of systems including our PMS (Opera), and other systems used within the business.
  • To work closely with other departments to ensure service and our guest experience is seamless across the business.
  • To ensure payments are processed accurately and with confidence and discretion.
  • To have a positive, can-do attitude, contributing to a pleasant working atmosphere.
  • To enjoy a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible to a wide range of duties, including administrative and operational duties.
  • To ensure all front office working areas are kept clean and tidy throughout shift, including company vehicles.
  • To be punctual and immaculately groomed for every shift as per company policies.
  • To be an ambassador and knowledgeable about the Bamford Collection, ensuring our guests are aware of all that we have to offer as a collection.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to delivering luxury service and a passion for the local area.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Microsoft Office and Opera PMS desirable but not essential and training will be given.
