A well-established, chartered cost consultancy is on the lookout for a driven Cost Estimator eager to advance their career within a supportive, London-based team.

The Role of the Cost Estimator

The successful candidate will be positioned in the London office, collaborating closely with the director of cost management on a diverse portfolio of residential, cultural, heritage, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates and oversee the entire procurement process.
  • Administer contracts and guide projects on-site until finalization.

Current projects are at various stages, including on-site execution and tendering, with numerous bids in progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a PQS / consultancy environment.
  • A competent cost estimator progressing towards a senior role.
  • MRICS qualified or actively pursuing this qualification.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong client-facing abilities and excellent communication skills.
