We are seeking a highly skilled Solar PV Estimator to join our dynamic Work Winning team in a hybrid position based at our London Office (two days per week).

• Support the Estimating team with solar PV bids and tenders
• Prepare and submit prime cost estimates utilising Enterprise Estimating Software
• Liaise with internal and external engineers, consultants and subcontractors to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Analyse drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates
• Identify and provide alternative cost proposals, solutions and value engineering options
• Establish and maintain tendering processes and conduct negotiations
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Support and encourage junior team members
• Monitor targets and workflow
• Control and organise tender documentation
• Track and report analytics on a variety of campaigns, internal communications, and social media using varied tools

• Experience working for a Solar or Mechanical & Electrical contractor
• Proficient in using estimating software packages
• Experience in budget and cost planning
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Ability to analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates
• Experience in preparing and submitting prime cost estimates using Estimating Software
• Excellent Problem-Solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
