Job Title: Junior Legal Cashier

This leading commercial law firm in central London is seeking a Junior Legal Cashier to join their Office and Client team within the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile office and client bank accounts.
  • Prepare client receipts and electronic payments.
  • Process banking of cheques.
  • Manage credit card postings and reconciliations.
  • Process and review invoices.
  • Assist with working capital management write-offs, disbursements, and credit note requests.
  • Process supplier invoices and payments.
  • Process expense claims and payments.
  • Respond to finance queries.
  • Assist with report preparation and distribution, including costs and residual balances.
  • Ensure disbursements are processed efficiently, including Companies House, Land registry, and TM property searches.
Candidate Profile:
  • Prior junior level experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment or a fast-paced environment.
  • Evidence of interest in and commitment to the firm's success.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the firm's values.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Numeracy, accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Confident individual with a proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
