Position Overview

As an Educational Support Specialist, you will receive a competitive salary of £79 (inclusive of London weighting allowance) along with the benefits of a Teacher's Pension.

Role Responsibilities

In this full-time, permanent position, you will work 37 hours per week from Monday to Thursday, with a 1:00 pm finish on Fridays. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects.
  • Staying informed about curriculum changes and best practices in functional skills education.
  • Tailoring your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.
  • Ensuring all planning and marking is conducted on-site during working hours, with no expectation for additional extracurricular activities outside of your scheduled hours.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (new standards).
  • At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • A proven track record of effective teaching in your subject area.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
