About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse - RMN to join our team at Active Care Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all patients are maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Create individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Update care plans daily, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Safely administer and record medication, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Liaise effectively with external suppliers and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor and develop the performance of support workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Use a person-centered approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
  • Act as Primary Nurse, taking overall responsibility for the nursing residents receive, through nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Contribute towards multidisciplinary team working, risk assessment management, and ongoing clinical improvement.
  • Provide written nursing reports for a range of statutory and clinical review processes.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
