Job Description

Role: Internal Communications and Engagement Manager (12 Month Contract)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Location: London Hybrid (2 days in the office)

Tate Recruitment is pleased to present this excellent opportunity for an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to join our client, a leading organisation making great advancements in achieving Net Zero Plans.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving all employee communications activities, including internal events. They will assume responsibility for the development and delivery of the internal communication strategy in line with the business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the communications strategy and plan in line with the organisation's business objectives
  • Deliver all internal communications in accordance with the comms plan
  • Continually develop and manage the company's intranet
  • Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, company presentations, and regular staff newsletter
  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for company-wide presentations to employees in written or spoken form
  • Provide a framework for effective communication channels and processes, which ensure people have access to the information they need to do their jobs effectively

Key Duties:

  • Work with the People team to ensure the employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, polls, etc. are effectively communicated and completed across the organisation
  • Work with the People team to implement the employee engagement strategy
  • Be prepared to develop ad-hoc communications, such as stakeholder meetings or webcasts
  • Responsible for the delivery of all internal events (virtual and physical) including away days and all other people engagement activities
  • Direct line management for Communications Coordinator
