About the Role:

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee civils projects ranging from £3m to £10m in value. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and budget-compliant completion of projects, while meeting specific quality standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Update and maintain progress reports to track project milestones
  • Execute and uphold company protocols and guidelines to ensure project success
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities on site
  • Identify project-related issues and oversee their efficient resolution
  • Oversee and ensure the upkeep of site facilities and equipment
  • Manage and provide support and guidance to the groundworks team
  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient progress
  • Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
  • Ensure tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan
  • Carry out consistent inspections to verify quality standards are significantly met
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, while upholding a secure work environment
  • Manage project budgets and expenses, including procurement of materials and equipment
  • Monitor work quality and ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations
  • Stay in regular contact with your team, engaging in ongoing discussions about project updates and handling any issues that may arise
  • Maintain precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records
