Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 20 members of staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver projects successfully.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Produce regular project reports, including project status updates, cost reports, and performance metrics, to ensure stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong background in project management.
  • Developed communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ideally, you will hold a recognized project management qualification or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, and implement projects with high business impact.
  • Proven financial, quantitative, and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
  • Budget management experience, with the ability to manage and control project costs.
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
