About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 20 members of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring they align with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Safety, to ensure project success.
  • Produce regular project reports, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information on project status.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and expenses are minimized.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong background in project management.
  • Developed communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable project management experience, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ideally, a recognized Project Management qualification or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, and implement projects with high business impact, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proven financial, quantitative, and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and expenses.
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
