Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in site investigation work across the UK, working closely with the wider team and manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Carry out project work with due diligence, adhering to RSK procedures and completing tasks within agreed cost budgets and time scales.
  • Develop strong communication skills to inform and liaise with project staff and clients, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Conduct preliminary risk assessments and intrusive ground investigations, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure accurate results.
  • Log samples to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling and data collation.

About You:

  • Prior site work experience is advantageous, particularly in trial pitting and drilling supervision or geotechnical monitoring.
  • A BSc degree in geology, civil engineering, or a related environmental subject is essential.
  • An MSc in geotechnical, civil engineering, or environmental disciplines is desirable.
  • Ability to log samples to BS 5930 A2 technical standards is required.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
