Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Allen & York. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental issues to the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a range of practical and field works
  • Oversee technical work prepared by colleagues
  • Have a good working knowledge of geotechnical slope assessment models
  • Experience in the use of CAD and three-dimensional digital terrain models
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

Requirements:

  • BSc, BEng, MSc, MSci or MEng in a Geology, Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering related discipline
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Fellowship of the Geological Society or Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers Chartership
