This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant organization that manages eleven venues, serving 6,000 members and attracting over 130,000 visitors annually. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of 250 to 400 staff members, depending on the season, and play a key role in supporting our annual revenue of approximately £17 million, with surpluses of around £2 million reinvested into our facilities, staff development, and community initiatives.

The Clubhouse Operations Supervisor will ensure the effective management of the clubhouse and dining areas. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that food and beverage services meet the expectations of our members and guests. The Supervisor will also work closely with the Executive Chef to update menus and guarantee high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily operations of the clubhouse.
  • Recruit, train, and manage clubhouse personnel.
  • Ensure food and beverage offerings align with member and visitor expectations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain inventory tracking systems, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to clubhouse operations, including labor and food costs, collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu development.
  • Uphold exceptional service standards and enhance guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns for the clubhouse.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing food and beverage operations within a hospitality or related setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and cost control strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments and make swift decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.
