Quarry Operations Manager

Are you looking for a challenging role in quarry management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Manager to join our team at FCC Environment.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quarry Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of Jackdaw Crag Quarry. As a Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing quarry operations, and supervising a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise quarry operations to ensure safe and efficient production
- Implement and maintain health and safety procedures and protocols
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with environmental management systems and regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quarry performance and efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- QCF Level 4 (or above) in Mineral Extractives Management
- Experience in quarry management or a related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Competency in IT programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work towards a Shot Firing Certificate and Explosives Supervisor examinations
