Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor

Occupational Health Staffing Limited is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to lead our team in Hamilton, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Occupational Health service, leading on specific projects, and supporting business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Occupational Health service on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high-quality service delivery and outcomes.
  • Line manage and deploy Occupational Health staff within the department, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Lead on specific projects to improve service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Lead contract management reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and high-quality service delivery.
  • Support the business development team to identify new opportunities and grow the business, leveraging your expertise and network.
  • Take budgetary responsibility for the Occupational Health service, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.
  • Manage a caseload of Occupational Health cases, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Provide immunisations and venepuncture services as required, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Travel to client sites as necessary, representing the company and building strong relationships with clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Senior Occupational Health Nurse with strong case management, health surveillance, and leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car, with a willingness to travel as required.
