We are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Craft Cocktail Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team at Guildford Harbour Hotel.

In this role, you will be tasked with the art of crafting exquisite, bespoke cocktails while delivering exceptional service to our patrons. Your proficiency in mixology, keen attention to detail, and ability to connect with customers will play a vital role in curating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Your Responsibilities Include:

· Leverage your extensive knowledge of beverages, spirits, and mixology methods to design innovative and visually stunning drink recipes that reflect your creativity and skill.

· Work collaboratively with management and the bar team to create fresh and exciting signature drinks for service, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends.

· Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.

· Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations, answering inquiries, and ensuring outstanding service throughout their visit.

· Maintain a tidy and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

· Utilize your product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques to promote premium spirits, signature cocktails, and other bar offerings to enhance revenue potential.

· Foster a positive work environment by communicating effectively with bar and service staff, assisting colleagues as needed, and collaborating on special events and promotions.

· Stay informed about industry trends, mixology techniques, and new product releases, sharing your insights with the team to elevate their skills and uphold a high standard of service.

· Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the service of alcohol, promoting responsible service practices.

What We Seek:

· A minimum of 1 year of professional bartending experience, with a focus on cocktail preparation and mixology techniques.

· Strong understanding of spirits, liqueurs, wine, beer, and mixology, including both classic and contemporary cocktail recipes.

· Proven ability to create unique and visually appealing cocktails while maintaining a balanced flavor profile.

· Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact positively with a diverse range of guests.

· Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and team members.

· Demonstrated ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and prioritize tasks to ensure timely service and an organized work environment.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work atmosphere.

· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
