Role Details

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and diligent individual to join our busy department, which offers a variety of non-invasive cardiac and respiratory assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism while providing outstanding service to patients and visitors. This position involves working closely with cardiologists, respiratory specialists, and cardiac physiologists to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Your responsibilities will include conducting non-invasive diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECG), Spirometry, and Ambulatory Holter recordings. You will also assist in the echocardiography section, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, and managing patient information through our electronic records system. Comprehensive training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above, with a science subject being advantageous.
  • Level 2 Healthcare Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or ECG is desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, engaging with cardiology consultants and specialist nurses.
