Respiratory Physiotherapy Clinical Leader

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, assessment, and treatment of acutely unwell patients, as well as strategic planning of Respiratory Physiotherapy services.
The post holder will be responsible for supervising practice, implementing evidence-based practice, and teaching and supporting colleagues. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with the wider Multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team
- Assess and treat patients in the inpatient areas
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice
- Supervise and support colleagues
The successful candidate will have a Master's educational level, mapped to the Multi Professional Advanced Practice Framework and Health Education England. The four pillars of practice are: Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner to join our team and contribute to the development of our Respiratory Physiotherapy services. The post holder will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider Multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of high-quality care for our patients.

Working PatternThe post is delivered over Monday - Friday with expectation to cover evening, weekend and Respiratory on-call shifts.
PayThe salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024.
