Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead our residential care initiative, ensuring high-quality care and support for the children in our care. As a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for guiding our home forward towards ensuring a secure, safe, and motivating environment for both the children and young people in their care and our staffing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including Ofsted inspections.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support services, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children's Home setting in a supervisory role.
  • Substantive experience in a Managerial role, including supervisory experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislations that set the standards within a Children's Home setting.
  • Proven track record with Ofsted.
  • Ability to work closely with the Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
