About the Role

Majestic Wine is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering the People plan in our Retail teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships by using excellent communication skills and being visible in the field.
  • Professional Credibility: Demonstrate strong professional credibility and build ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor with managers and leaders.
  • Employee Support: Work closely with the ER Advisor and Senior HR Business Partners in addressing employee inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Talent Management: Support our robust talent & succession planning process combined with the recruitment strategy, by participating in the hiring process, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the execution of performance management process, including performance reviews, feedback processes, and development plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements by staying updated on HR laws and regulations, and assist in policy development and communication.
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including engagement surveys and action planning.
  • HR Metrics: Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment statistics.
  • Project Support: Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, providing research, analysis, and administrative support as needed.
