About The Role

As an Apprentice Coordinator within the People Services team, you will deliver essential HR support to both the team and the broader organization.
Your daily responsibilities will include maintaining and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within our systems, while collaborating closely with our Payroll department to guarantee timely and precise payments to staff. You will serve as the primary contact for colleagues, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, or directing them to the appropriate resources for various HR matters, thus a strong emphasis on customer service is crucial for this position.
Handling confidential information will be a regular part of your role, making it vital to possess exceptional attention to detail to uphold the integrity of this data. This position offers a diverse range of tasks aimed at meeting monthly deadlines.
This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in HR. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, during which you will pursue your apprenticeship, studying for the Level 3 HR Support qualification.
This position will be based in our office, with the possibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
About The Candidate
To qualify for the role of Apprentice Coordinator - People Services, you should:
  • Preferably have experience in coordinating and executing administrative tasks.
  • Understand the principles of outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and ensure that processes and inquiries are managed and resolved promptly.
  • Effectively plan your workload and manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality work.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, ensuring a consistent approach across the organization.
  • Be organized and capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Be willing to undertake an 18-month apprenticeship at Level 3.
  • Have GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, or be prepared to take the functional skills assessment.
