About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Content Strategist to join our team at Smith+Nephew. As a key member of our global web team, you will be responsible for defining, building, and structuring our digital content across all our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for our website and connected digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to improve the customer journey, tying together big ideas and concepts in innovative ways.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars, content playbooks, voice/tone guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and content migration plans.
  • Support and participate in content conception and creation with global and local markets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content strategy, UX writing, and digital communications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in content strategy, copywriting, and UX writing.
  • Strong understanding of W3C, SEO, and analytics.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management systems (DAMS).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
