About the Role

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and tendering efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tendering Support: Provide expert support to our regional tendering and sales teams to ensure timely and high-quality tender submissions.
  • Proposal Development: Develop and submit detailed proposals that meet our customers' requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Technical Specifications: Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications for packaged equipment, extract applicable client requirements, and communicate specifications to subcontractors, sub-vendors, and internal teams.
  • Commercial Liaison: Liaise with our commercial team to ensure accurate and timely communication of customer needs, scope, and timing.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and completion of tender data and front logs, and actively manage these documents.
  • Global Collaboration: Work as a member of our Global Tendering Team to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are achieved.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support customer visits during bid clarification and negotiation stages.
  • Team Development: Support the coaching and development of Applications Engineers through feedback, instruction, and guidance to help them develop skills and excel in their job responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or commensurate experience in a commercial/tendering organization.
  • Experience: Experience in the market sector, the centrifugal pump industry, and in-depth knowledge and experience in reviewing highly detailed specifications and writing comprehensive and accurate bids.
  • Language: Proficient in English language – both written and verbal.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, competence in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), organized, able to manage multiple tasks professionally, good time manager, and strives to meet all commitments.
