About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Team within Forensic Services at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Community Mental Health or Forensic Psychiatry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and assessment of patients on the community caseload
  • Contribute to the on-call rota for the wider Forensic Service
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to support patients with complex needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care services
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Eligibility for CCT registration in Forensic Psychiatry (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in community mental health or forensic services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to service development
