SEO Outreach Manager

Location: Manchester City Centre – Office Based

We are in search of an Outreach Manager who not only possesses a passion for SEO but also has a profound understanding of the essential role that backlinks play in fostering organic growth.

Role Overview:

As an Outreach Manager, you will spearhead the company's link acquisition initiatives, developing strategies that improve SEO performance across various international markets. Your responsibilities will include evaluating competitor tactics, utilizing data to guide your methods, and securing high-quality backlinks that elevate the website's authority and search visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outreach Strategy Formulation: Partner with the Head of SEO to devise and execute an outreach plan that aligns with our overarching SEO objectives.
  • Link Acquisition: Implement effective strategies to obtain relevant, high-quality backlinks that enhance organic traffic and improve website rankings.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the demand generation team to integrate link acquisition into wider marketing initiatives and maximize the impact of campaign resources.
  • Public Relations Collaboration: Work alongside the PR & Content Manager to identify and leverage opportunities arising from PR efforts.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly assess the impact of your initiatives on overall SEO performance, employing analytics tools to monitor key metrics.
  • Content Enhancement: Refine website content, including landing pages and blogs, to optimize user experience and SEO results.
  • Competitor Research: Stay ahead of industry competitors by examining their link acquisition strategies and discovering new opportunities for the business.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of the latest trends and algorithm updates to ensure our SEO strategies remain innovative.
  • Content Development: Produce comprehensive content briefs for both internal and external writers, ensuring the creation of high-quality content that avoids duplication and superficiality.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in link acquisition or a related SEO role with a demonstrated history of success.
  • SEO Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SEO best practices and the nuances of link acquisition.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Proactive Approach: A self-motivated individual who can independently identify opportunities and strategize accordingly, while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written English capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate across various teams.
