Job Overview

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and organized Radiography Support Specialist to provide administrative support across the department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Patient Pathway Coordinator to ensure seamless administrative processes and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of service delivery.

Main Duties

The Radiography Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the department, including managing patient referrals and treatment times
  • Assisting with customer complaints and customer care
  • Typing approximately 50 wpm
  • Monitoring patient pathways and maintaining accurate records

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent experience
  • Experience dealing with customer complaints and customer care
  • Audio typing approximately 50 wpm
  • Understanding of medical terminology

Desirable criteria include knowledge of patient referral to treatment times and experience of monitoring patient pathways.
