About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Radiographer Team Leader to join our Radiotherapy department at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Radiographers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Radiographers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement departmental protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of radiotherapy services.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Radiographers on complex radiotherapy procedures.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
  • Minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience with specialist training, knowledge and experience to master's level or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience and excellent communication and people management skills.
